The Sportscenter Athletic Club in High Point has 4 tennis courts and offers full court tennis and practice court tennis. Playing tennis is a great way to get in shape.

Full Court Tennis

Now open are four rubber coated tennis courts. These tennis courts are all professional size. Ideal for singles or doubles play. Stop by the front desk to learn more about reserving a tennis court.

Tennis Practice Court

Coming soon is a half court practice wall. This will be ideal for warming up or for anybody who just wants to get some practice in.

Tennis Instructor - Adriano Blacutt

Adriano is available for half-hour and 1 hour private lessons. For more information, contact him at 336-549-8236.

As a Bolivia native, Adriano comes from a tennis influenced family. He started playing tennis at the age of 7, earning his way up to the top rankings in his country throughout the Junior's Division. In 1993, he represented Bolivia in the International Junior Tournaments throughout South America.

Adriano was a member of the Elon University Men's Tennis Team, 1996-2000, playing No.1 through No.3 spots in Singles and Doubles. During his collegiate career, Blacutt was named All-Conference and All-Academic player each of his four years in collegiate competition. In 1997, he was a member of the South Atlantic Conference Championship Team and a member of the Big South Conference Runner-up Team in 2000. During his junior year at Elon University, he became the North Carolina State Doubles Champion, earning high reputation in the North Carolina State Singles and Doubles rankings.

As a high level collegiate player, Adriano brings 12 years of teaching experience in private and group instruction for all levels of play. He has instructed at Carolina Tennis Academy, as well as several recognized summer tennis camps such as Duke University, Wake Forest, Elon University, and NC State.
