The Sportscenter Athletic Club in High Point offers an incredible swimming program that makes learning to swim fun and successful!
Our goal is to provide a cheerful, safe environment with top quality swimming instruction. We place a strong emphasis on learning the basics and using the correct techniques from the start while promoting a fun interactive environment.
We offer both individual and group lessons for members and non-members of all ages and skill levels.
We have dedicated team of professional, energetic instructors. These experienced coaches cater to every skill level so that lessons are productive and effective.

Private Swim Lessons
Package of 4 Lessons is $88 ($108 for Non-Members) Sign-ups for all group lessons will be taken at the front desk in High Point. Payment for lessons is due upon class registration. The Swim Instructors at the Sportscenter Athletic Club are Julie Schmidt and Colleen Mulligan. Swimming Pools – Facility
The indoor and outdoor swimming pools at the Sportscenter are truly incredible. We invite you to stop by our High Point location and take a tour.
Whether you want to swim laps, compete, or just relax in the whirlpool, we have the right Aquatics for you. Our goal is to provide amazing Aquatics programs for all ages and skill levels. The Aquatics programs include water aerobics, swim lessons, youth swim teams, adult swim teams and much more.
- Warm water 15 x 10 yard 4′ deep activity pool, and access to 25 yard lap pool
- Men and women’s, boy and girl’s locker rooms adjacent to the pool
- Water temperature maintained at 87 degrees
Safety
- No running on the deck
- Children not yet toilet trained must wear aquatic diapers (plastic pants)
- Children under 14 are not allowed in the hot tub
- Everyone must shower before entering the pool or hot tub
